Since I was a little girl reading or listening to ads was my favorite. The way people are trying to sell their product or tell their idea fascinates me. I remember traveling in the back seat of my dad’s car, trying to read every shop’s name or slogan faster. The ways of telling a story and the essentials about products are unlimited… But let’s not get ahead of the story. I mentioned my childhood, so let me start there.
I always felt like one of those kids that can’t get enough of learning new things or trying new hobbies. When I was three, I was taken to a ballet class, and it took me 20 years to get enough of it. Of course, other than ballet dancing, there was modern, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and more.
My passion for dancing did not stop there, though. For the last 9 years, I’ve been working as a choreographer at the dance school I went to. My job includes teaching kids and taking them to regionals, nationals, and even world dance finals. Many cups, medals, and prestigious places were taken. Our best result so far is third place at Dance World Cup 2014 in Portugal.
Where dance is, there is always music. Yes, I also devoted my childhood to violin practice, my early teenage period, to piano classes. But I entirely gave my heart to guitars, right about the high-school period.
Being a bilingual kid with a Russian dad and Bulgarian mom made me fall in love with knowing languages’ magnificent power. In between Spanish, French and German classes, the English ones were my favorite.
My university education was in Entrepreneurship and Social work. This looked like the best choice for a social volunteer, such as me. I participated in many charity events, auctions, and projects mainly focused on children in need and orphans. However, entrepreneurship, business, and marketing are the things that drive me. As a copywriter, I understand that all these experiences and love for marketing, all the hobbies I took up led me to this fascinating profession. It’s clear to me that precisely this wide variety of interests and skills I was honing were what made me a good copywriter, researcher, and storyteller, for my clients.
When I am not writing copy or spending time with my husband and loved ones, you can definitely spot me feeding my eyes with a good book, preferably in a foreign language or reading an inspirational classic novel. I also enjoy reading travel and cooking blogs, something I tried on my own. Another one of my ‘spare time’ favorites is Instagram scrolling, which I also turned into a business with a cause, bringing to life an old rusty childhood dream – starting up a thrift clothing store.
So far, I look like a person who just enjoys her hobbies and makes money out of them. This is true, but believe me, every profession has its hards and toughs. I used to be an executive manager of a middle-sized IT and Data Processing company, which did not fit my character and passions. But this job was an essential experience in project management, customer service, partner relations, and team management. I learned a lot about business and managing in general, but most importantly, to give the right message to the right audience. The ‘gold’ I took from this job was that personally connecting to people seals the deals.
Writing is my power tool. I love how the right selected words can have the most significant influence on people. What makes me different from other copywriters is that I genuinely care about your business. Putting all my heart, creativity, and experiences into your inspirational ideas to write copy that speaks to your customers’ hearts is my number one goal.
If, while you were reading my tête-a-tête story, something inside you clicked or jumped, that can only mean that I am the best fit for your copywriting needs. Don’t hesitate to contact me (even if it’s just to talk about one of our shared hobbies), and I promise to do my best to boost your business with magical copy.
